About An Bruachan
Enjoy the tranquillity of the riverside whilst being just a 12 minute walk away from the centre of Kenmare.
An Bruachan (Irish for ‘Little Brook’) is located on the outskirts of Kenmare on the Killarney Road. Situated on an acre of landscaped gardens with the Finnihy River forming one of the boundaries. A privately owned plantation of mixed matured trees lies to the far side of the river binding the gardens on an additional two sides.
Environmental Policy
Here at An Bruachan a quality service for our guests is provided whilst minimising the environmental impact of our activities. The requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice are noted and implemented.
Our impact on the environment is minimised through the involvement of various energy saving initiatives. Support and promotion of local produce, food, and crafts and businesses is ongoing.
A duty of care towards the environment is implemented so that it may be enjoyed by our visitors and future generations.
Things to do in Kenmare & Kerry
You’re never stuck for things to do in Kerry. Whether it’s a scenic drive around the Ring of Kerry, an invigorating walk along the Kerry Way or a gentle cycle ride, there is something to please everyone. As well as activities, Kenmare is famous for its cuisine and its array of art and craft shops as well and you will often hear the jigs and reels of a live traditional Irish music session pouring out of one of the several welcoming pubs in the town.
